It seems to be the trend at the moment for models enjoying success in the industry, to try their hand at the acting game, with a number of top models appearing in movies in recent years. One such model, who has given the acting game a go, is the stunning Irina Shayk, who made her big screen debut in the movie Hercules last year. Irina has now been speaking about her future in the acting industry, admitting that she would love to play a Russian KGB agent in her next movie.
Shayk was chatting to the New York Post newspapers Page Six, when she said, "Something very cool with the guns, maybe some Russian KGB agent. I would prefer something with a Russian spy. My grandmother, who passed away last year, worked as a secret agent in [the First World War] so I think she would love something like that."
As well as talking about her future in the acting industry, Irina Shayk also spoke about landing her role in the movie Hercules, admitting that she had never had any sort of acting lessons before she took on the role, "It was a really great experience. Especially as I've never taken acting classes in my life."
Irina Shayk managed to give a very solid performance in Hercules and we have no doubt that she will get plenty of acting offers in the future. It will be interesting to see how she mixes her acting roles with her modelling work in the future but we are sure that she will be just fine.
What role do you think would be ideal for Irina Shayk?
