Marvel’s executive vice president of visual effects and post production, Victoria Alonso has revealed that she expects Iron Man 3 to be the best of the franchise so far. Victoria claims that she has been working as hard as she can to give the fans a movie they deserve.
Alonso explained to NBC, “This is a franchise I love - it's my baby. It's going to be a better film than the others and I'm working every day to make sure I do right by the fans who are looking forward to seeing it in May 2013. To bring superheroes to life is a constant challenge, and one that I'm honoured to have.”
She added, "The best visual effect is the one you don't see but moves the story. We don't try to define the story with special effects. Iron Man has to fly from point A to point B, and it's my job to make sure he does that in the coolest way possible.”
Iron Man 3 will see the newcomers of Sir Ben Kingsley, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Ashley Hamilton and James Badge Dale joining the returning cast members of Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Jon Favreau and Iron Man himself Robert Downey Jr. Iron Man 3 is set to be released in the UK on April 26, 2013 and in the US on May 3, 2013.
