Julia Dietz has recently signed on to work on the upcoming Tom Holland Horror/Thriller film Killing Frank, along with Jeremy Irons, Melanie Lynskey and others. The storyline centers around a family that comes home to have an impromptu reunion in order to decide the fate of the estate of their father - business tycoon Frank Reynolds [Jeremy Irons]. The film takes a terrifying turn when the family members start being killed off mysteriously one by one without any clear motive.
Tom Holland is an American director famous for bringing us such classics: Fight Night and Child's Play. The storyline for Killing Frank appears similar to that of You're Next, the 2013 home-invasion horror starring Sharni Vinson that had a gang of ax-wielding-mask-wearing murderers also descend upon a family reunion. Like Killing Frank, the film also involved family members being mysteriously murdered individually - intensifying fears for any remaining survivors.
Upon hearing the recent nears of the death of Philip Seymour Hoffman, the actress took to her Facebook and Twitter page to express her condolences, she posted “Philip Seymour Hoffman is dead! so shocking! I just ask myself why do so many great actors die on a drug... “.
Best known for her roles in Iron Sky and Love in Thoughts, next you can catch Dietze starring in the kick-ass action flick Bullet alongside everyone's favorite villain Danny Trejo, Torsten Voges, and Breaking Bad's Jonathan Banks. The film is scheduled to be released in the U.K. in the beginning of March 2014.
