Angel Locsin's boyfriend Luis Manzano rejected a proposal to work with her and his mother in a movie being produced by Star Cinema and the decision makes one wonder if his professional decisions are starting to be impacted by the constant talk of them potentially becoming engaged.

The career of the beautiful actress is thriving as she is being offered parts in movies, her every move is followed by the media and she has been selected as one of the nominees for the Best Actress Award in the Star Awards for Television. Even the personal life of the attractive Filipino beauty is going well as she is back in a relationship with Luis Manzano and she gets along so well with his mother that they will both be filming a movie project together.
However, when the opportunity for her partner arose to work with her he backed away from the project which I believe might be less to do with the role in the movie and more to do with the possibility that he is feeling the pressure to get 'engaged' and cannot imagine having to deal with that issue while filming with both his girlfriend and mother.

In 2014 several high-profile couples have become engaged and recently Bianca Gonzalez (Philstar - Oct. 15) suggested publicly that her friends Angel Locsin and Luis Manzano joining the club and become engaged.
Angel Locsin has almost everything a man could ask for but yet for some reason her partner has not been willing to ask for her hand in marriage and now when he has the opportunity to work with her instead of taking it, he says no to it?
Seems like all may not be as well as it looks on the outside for Angel Locsin as maybe the 'social' pressure is starting to affect her partner'. They both may say otherwise but usually couples in love want to be around each other as much as possible and Luis Manzano's decision indicates that he might be getting 'cold feet' which if it is the case could result in a large number of men trying to take his place in line for the hand and affection of the gorgeous Angel Locsin.
