Video game company Gate Five want to sue Beyonce for $100 million.
The popstar, who is due to give birth to her first child in March, will be wanting to avoid stress, but if the video game company Gate Five get their way, Beyonce may soon be stripped of her millions. She is said to be being sued for a $100 million after 'abandoning' a project she was doing with the company, to make a dance video game in April.
Gate Five have claimed that the R&B star 'abruptly abandoned' the project to make the video game Starpower: Beyoncé after making an 'extortionate demand' for more money. Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Charles Ramos has refused Beyoncé's request to abolish the suit, ruling that Gate Five may proceed with civil action.
In the suit filed in April, the 30 year-old songstress was accused of a "bad faith breach of contract so callous that, on what appeared to be a whim, she destroyed Gate Five’s business and drove 70 people into unemployment, the week before Christmas".
In addition to her legal worries, Beyoncé has also had to deal with speculation that she has been wearing a prosthetic baby bump. However, A spokesperson for the singer told America's ABC News that insinuations about her donning a prosthetic belly was "stupid, ridiculous and false".
