When it was first announced that, Take That singer and songwriter, Gary Barlow was set to replace Simon Cowell on The X Factor, everyone, including us, thought it was a fantastic choice. Gary Barlow has always seemed like a very down to earth guy, who would be honest with the acts without being cruel and he has always come across as a very humble guy.
However, as the weeks have gone on, Gary Barlow has begun to lose a lot of fans, as he has been overly biased about his own acts, namely Frankie Cocozza, has been downright cruel to other acts and has come across as a guy who is full of himself. It is clear that Gary Barlow has a very high opinion of himself and his arrogance is only outweighed by his rudeness.
It seems that Gary Barlow has forgotten about the time when he was a down and out, former pop star with a weight issue, who nobody would give the time of day. Gary has had to apologise on a number of occasions this week for being rude to people and talking down to people. He always talks over his fellow judges and often tells Louis Walsh to shut up, stating that he is nothing. A bit harsh considering the success that Louis Walsh has brought to a number of people over the years.
Anyway, Gary Barlow seems to have gone down the same path as many of The X Factor wannabe’s and has let all the hype and attention that surrounds him go to his head. We would love to see the return of the old Gary Barlow, who was charming and witty and would never dream of being rude and cruel to people for no reason. Bring back the real Gary Barlow before it is too late.
