If there was ever an actor who fits the bill of villain for a comic book hero movie it is Jason Momoa. This veteran actor with the huge physique was an undeniably transfixing presence on the HBO television series "Game of Thrones" and he has the look that could make him ideal for the role of villain. Recently he confirmed that the rumours that were linking him to a role in the Superman sequel were false but if one were to think of a villain for a movie such as Batman the casting agents could not do much better than Jason Momoa.
However, Jason Momoa will not be bereft of time on the movie screen in 2014 as he has filmed several projects in 2013 which will be released in 2014 including three movies and 1 television series, "The Red Road". The three movies, "Road to Paloma", "Wolves", and "Debug" each feature him in a starring role and will likely lead to him potentially having the opportunity to become an action movie star similar to Dwayne Johnson.
Interestingly, despite Jason Momoa's comments that he is not going to be in the Superman sequel the rumours continue to grow that he is potentially going to be playing the role of a villain in the next Batman film. In Hollywood, usually where there is smoke there is a fire so fans of Jason Momoa should not be surprised in the near future if it is announced that he is a part of the next Batman movie.
Jason Momoa's role in the "Game of Thrones", in particular his relationship on the show with Emilia Clarke's character made him a household name and now to his credit he has capitalized on how it enhanced his profile by finding four projects in which he went from being a supporting actor to lead actor. The question for 2014 about Jason Momoa is can he be a lead actor of a film and that is an answer the entertainment industry will be receiving in 2014.
