The career of Miley Cyrus has certainly been an interesting one and we have seen her going from the young, sweet and innocent girl from the hit Disney television series Hannah Montana, to the over sexualised woman who performs raunchy shows and releases raunchy videos. While Miley wanted to do this to show people who she really is, she has received a huge amount of criticism for it.
While Miley Cyrus was performing as Hannah Montana, she appeared on the cover of the Girl Talk magazine on a number of occasions but we have not seen her on there for some time now, and it looks like we might never see her on there ever again. Girl Talk have confirmed that they will no longer use her, as they feel she has become too raunchy for young girls.
Girl Talk editor Bea Appleby told the Daily Mail, "We have always been very careful about having stars in our magazine who are suitable - not too raunchy or controversial. We haven’t had Miley Cyrus in the magazine for a long time because she is now too raunchy for us. When she was Hannah Montana we used to have her on the cover all the time. She was great for us, but she has changed and she has become much more sexualised."
As well as confirming that they will no longer use Miley Cyrus on the cover of the Girl Talk magazine, Bea Appleby also went on to reveal that they will instead look to have positive role models on the cover of the publication, such as British athlete Jessica Ennis-Hill.
