Is Sandra Bullock preparing for a turn as villain with her role in the animated film "Minions"? The film is a spin-off to "Despicable Me" and "Despicable Me 2" and in it she provides the voice of villain Scarlett Overkill.
While this may not seem like a major change to film viewers the decision did get the attention of entertainment insiders. She is an actress who is known for playing the 'heroine' or 'good person' in the majority of her roles and while viewers will not be seeing her on screen as they will only be hearing her voice and the animated character some insiders view this role as a 'test' role and others believe that she is contemplating taking on the 'juicy' part of the villain in a movie.
The next role for the "Gravity" star is rumoured to be the comedy movie "The Heat 2" with Melissa McCarthy, a follow up to their box office smash "The Heat". However, that role is one in which she is very comfortable and Sandra Bullock is an actress who entertainment insiders know enjoys a challenge and some believe she has started the process of challenging herself professionally as a villain with her role as 'Scarlett Overkill'.
She was recently photographed with her favourite man in the world, her son Louis in New Orleans as they visited the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas the day after she put in a stunning appearance at Brad Pitt's "Make It Right Gala". The gala is focused on raising funds toward building housing for those affected by Hurricane Katrina and it took place at the "Sugar Mill". Sandra Bullock looked fantastic as she wore a three-quarter black sleeve dress with high heels while appearing on stage with Brad Pitt.
She has not disclosed what her movie plans are for the future but Sandra Bullock looks like she is loving life and embracing all the challenges she can find and one of those might be playing a villain on the big screen.
