People have been questioning for quite some time now whether or not Zachary Quinto is gay and he even refused to comment on it in an interview with New York Times last year. However, the actor has finally come out and admitted that he is in fact gay and he feels that people need to start accepting homosexuality.
Zachary explained, “As a gay man, it made me feel like there's still so much work to be done, and there's still so many things that need to be looked at and addressed. And again, as a gay man I look at that and say there’s a hopelessness that surrounds it, but as a human being I look at it and say Why? Where’s this disparity coming from, and why can’t we as a culture and society dig deeper to examine that? We’re terrified of facing ourselves.”
Zachary Quinto can next be seen on the big screen, alongside Paul Bettany, Demi Moore and Penn Badgley, in the movie Margin Call, which is released on October 21. He will also be reprising his role as Spock in Star Trek 2, which begins filming next year.
