Red Dawn is a remake of the 1984 movie which starred Patrick Swayze and, while it was filmed back in 2009, it has yet to see the light of day. However, it appears that Red Dawn is finally set to be released later this year and we have decided to give you an update on what a few of the stars have said. Chris Hemsworth has already spoken of his excitement about the release of the movie, as had Josh Hutcherson, now it is the turn of Isabel Lucas.
Isabel explained, “It was really cool because it was a younger cast, and there was a lot of vibrancy. Especially from Connor Cruise, who’s so enthused all the time. The experience of Red Dawn, which we shot in Michigan, was a very visual film and it wasn’t so much about the character story, it’s like a massive commercial. I’ve heard it’s amazing but I haven’t seen the finished product yet.”
Lucas added, “We were doing boot camps and martial-arts training, learning to use different weaponry in the cold Detroit winter. It’s classic action. When you’re an actor, when opportunities come up, you go with the flow. You jump.” The Red Dawn remake was directed by Dan Bradley and it is set to be released on November 2, 2012.
