The world is full of beautiful women, coming from all over and trying to make a name for themselves on the modelling scene. While it is probably fair to say that, any model aspiring to make it to the top of the modelling industry would need to move to the US, it is not necessarily American models leading the way. In fact, there are a lot of Brazilian models in the modelling industry today and here we take a look at a few of them.
Brazilian model Isabeli Fontana has been in the modelling industry since she was just a teenage girl, making it to the finals of the Elite Model Look in 1996 at the age of just 13. Since then, Isabeli has gone on to become one of the world's top models, working with the likes of Victoria's Secret, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, Elle, Marie Claire, and Vogue, to name just a few. Isabeli Fontana is almost 31 but she is still as beautiful as ever.
Arguably the biggest Brazilian model on the planet is the beautiful Adriana Lima, who has been modelling since she was 15 years old, after winning Ford's Supermodel of Brazil search. Adriana has since gone on to become one of the biggest models in the world, becoming a Victoria's Secret Angel back in 2000 and going on to come fourth in the Forbes top-earning models list, where it was claimed she made around $7.3m in one year.
Cintia Dicker is probably the least known-model of the three but that is not to say that she is not a huge name on the modelling scene. Over the years Cintia has worked with some of the top names that the modelling world has to offer, but is probably best known for appearing in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. We expect to see plenty more of Cintia Dicker in the coming years.
Brazil has also given us plenty more stunning models over the years, such as Alessandra Ambrosio, Gisele Bundchen, Raica Oliveira, and Ana Beatriz Barros, to name just a few. Feel free to share your favourite Brazilian model with us.
