Actress and businesswoman Jaclyn Smith admitted in an interview with Oprah Winfrey on her show "Oprah: Where Are They Now?" that she still gets emotional when she thinks of her colleague and good friend Farrah Fawcett and the last six months of her friends life. They became close during that time as her friend battled rectal cancer and spent much time together before she died. The time was very challenging because at the same time that Farrah Fawcettt was ill so was her own mother and this prevented her from going to the funeral.
When people think of Jaclyn Smith they usually go back to thinking about the Charlie's Angels beauty and no one can dispute that she is still beautiful. However, while she has achieved success as an actress it is her success as a businesswoman that most people look at when they think of her. She has developed her brand into a business empire which involves businesses such as skincare products, clothing, fashion, and even home and garden products.
Jaclyn Smith has not acted in two years since she appeared on a CSI Crime Scene Investigation episode but that is not to say she is not busy nor is not interested in a return to acting.
Her days are kept busy with her business interests and her life with husband, heart surgeon Dr. Brad Allen and her two children but she admits that she would love to return to acting but the role would have to be challenging as money would not be incentive.
She has some ideas for a script that she would like to produce and star in, a documentary she would like to film and a book she wants to write but she is also at peace if she never gets another role.
Jaclyn Smith is very happy with her life as a businesswoman, wife, and mother as her memories of the good times on Charlie's Angles as Kelly Garret and with Farrah Fawcett are more than enough to bring a smile and tears to her face.
