Jaden Smith's interview with Wonderland Magazine has already received widespread coverage, but there's one segment of the interview that especially interesting. According to Jaden, he and President Obama discussed aliens and Obama's answers to his questions about them led him to believe that aliens definitely existed.
He explains, "I like aliens! I think aliens are really cool, because they exist. I talked to President Obama about the extraterrestrials. He said he could neither confirm nor deny the existence of aliens, which means they're real."
He adds, "If people think we're the only people that live in this universe, then something is wrong with them." Jaden's father, Will Smith, has also previously spoken about his belief in extraterrestrials, which is especially interesting considering that Will has made many sci-fi movies focused on the subject of aliens.
Will and Jaden will both be seen next in 'After Earth', one of the summer's big-budget sci-fi blockbusters [along with Oblivion, Pacific Rim, and Elysium]. 'After Earth' comes out on May 31st, and takes place hundreds of years into the future where Earth has evolved past recognition. In addition to Will and Jaden, the film also stars Isabelle Fuhrman and Zoe Kravitz.
