Jadin Gould will play young version of Lana Lang in the upcoming 'Man of Steel', in a very different incarnation of the character from how she was actually portrayed by Kristin Kreuk on 'Smallville'.
Gould has a pretty extensive resume for someone so young, having stated acting 2006 and guest-starred in television shows ranging from Dexter and The Mentalist to iCarly and CSI:NY.
Perhaps her best known role to date has been in the film 'Battle Los Angeles', where she played a character named Amy. The film was a mediocre box office success, but it definitely didn't raise enough interest for a sequel.
However, Gould's career is about to change drastically with her brief presence in 'Man of Steel'. Already tipped as the summer's biggest hit, the early reactions have been extremely positive and the opening weekend is roughly predicted to open higher than $100 million at the domestic box office. The cast of 'Man of Steel' has been out in full force for promotional duties, and even Gould was even spotted with star Henry Cavill at a Man of Steel party. There's been no word of her performance in the movie, and for all intents and purposes, she plays a small role in the film.
