Following what was considered a flop in the movie A Good Day to Die Hard, despite the fact the movie still managed to gross $306m worldwide, there were some people questioning the future of young and talented actor Jai Courtney. However, talent always manages to overcome and Jai has proven that he certainly has plenty of talent when it comes to the acting game.
It was recently revealed how Jai Courtney has been cast in the role of Kyle Reese for the movie reboot Terminator: Genesis, which is a very big role for the actor, with many fans eagerly anticipating the movie already. Jai has now opened up about joining the movie franchise, admitting that he is looking forward to working with such an impressive cast on the film.
Courtney told IGN Movies, "When I read this, I was pretty into it and the story's cool. It's attached a great cast as well. I think Emilia Clarke's wonderful and she's got a lot of support and stuff behind her. And Jason Clarke as well I'm a big admirer of so, yeah, it's gonna be really cool, man. I'm looking forward to doing that, and running around with Arnie won't be too bad."
It is not just an impressive cast that is involved in Terminator: Genesis though, as there is also a strong team behind the camera. While Terminator: Genesis will see Jai Courtney, Emilia Clarke, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jason Clarke on screen, it will also have Thor: The Dark World director Alan Taylor helming the project, with a release date set for June 26, 2015 in the UK and July 1, 2015 in the US.
