With Thor: The Dark World set to be released later this year, there has been plenty of talk about how the sequel has developed from the first movie. Jaimie Alexander, who plays Sif in the Thor films has revealed how there is set to be a new level of character interactions in Thor: The Dark World.

Jaimie Alexander at Thor premiere
During an interview with Collider, Alexander explained, “You get to experience more of who she is on the inside. You get to see her in a more feminine way and we do explore the Thor/Sif relationship a little bit. That was fun…I definitely have action.”
She added, “But there are scenes, we have a few scenes where we don’t have any action at all and it was actually a lot of fun to play that because you’re not hiding behind a sword or an explosion, it’s just here, in your face. It was nice to see who she really is and that sort of thing. It was fun.”

Chris Hemsworth as Thor
As well as Jaimie Alexander, Thor: The Dark World also stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård, Idris Elba, Christopher Eccleston, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi and Tadanobu Asano and is set to be released on October 30 in the US and November 8 in the UK.
