In an interview with Clevver TV, Max Irons and Jake Abel talk about their upcoming movie ‘The Host’. The Host is based on a novel of the same name that was written by Stephenie Meyer, and so there is huge anticipation and expectation for the film.

However, and you’ll have to forgive me for saying so, The Host is a far better book than Twilight and the film version will surely be the same way, especially considering the caliber of people they have on board. Not only is Andrew Niccol writing and directing the film [he has previously written Gattaca, The Truman Show, and Simone], but the film stars Saoirse Ronan, William Hurt, and Diane Kruger, all of whom are known for being very careful with their film choices.
In the interview, Irons and Abel talk about what fans can expect and how the Host is different to twilight. They say, “You can expect sexy aliens. A bit of action. Romance. It’s very different to Twilight. Science fiction with Andrew Niccol directing – Gattaca, he wrote the Truman Show, William Hurt, Saoirse Ronan is our leading lady, who is fantastic, absolutely fantastic, with that transition between alien and human.”

A new trailer for the film is set to be releasing soon, with less than six month before the film releases on March 29, 2013.
