The X Factor winner James Arthur has revealed that he would love to work with his mentor from the show, Nicole Scherzinger. James was nurtured through the show by Nicole and he stated that he would be dead set on recording a track with the American singer.
While talking to MTV.co.uk, Arthur sais, “I would absolutely love to, in fact, she better work with me.” James then went on to talk about some of his highlights of The X Factor, admitting that he was happy that they allowed him to be the artist he believes he already is.
He added, “I’m so glad that they gave me creative control and allowed me to do what I wanted with the songs. They let me put dubstep out on Saturday night TV to Gladys in Grimsby. I appreciated that because I think there was a bit of a conflict between TV and the music team.”
James continued, “There’s a lot of highlights for me being involved in the X Factor, you know just working with people like Nicole and the whole X Factor team that have nurtured myself and the rest of the talent in the best possible way. It was a real pleasure to be part of the show.”
James Arthur recently spoke about his debut album and the fact that he would be interested in writing a song for former X Factor contestants One Direction.
