The latest instalment of the James Bond franchise, tentatively titled James Bond 23, has been one of those movies that has suffered setback after setback. Now, just when you thought filming was due to get underway, it seems that it has suffered yet another setback.
James Bond 23, which will again star Daniel Craig as 007, was originally supposed to begin filming way back in 2010 after the script was completed in late 2009. However, just as they were preparing to get underway, there were problems involving MGM and the movie was pushed back pending the sale. It was then believed that production on James Bond 23 would begin in the coming months, yet now another problem has reared its head.
This time it involves the possibly shooting location. The producers of James Bond 23 wanted to shoot a train sequence on a busy train in India but the Railway Minister would not allow it. So it now appears that they will be heading to South Africa for the shoot. James Bond 23 is pencilled in for a November 2012 release but with the constant delays it could be pushed back to 2013.
