James Franco starred as Harry Osborn in the Sam Raimi Spiderman movies and he has been talking about the reboot The Amazing Spider-Man. James says that he was not blown away by the movie and felt that it could have strayed further from the Sam Raimi films.

Franco was talking to MTV about The Amazing Spider-Man, when he explained, “Meh, they could've strayed a little bit more from the original. It's like...why. Guess they made a lot of money. Okay, congrats. But good for them. Sam and I moved on, we made Oz.”
The Amazing Spider-Man was so successful, that a sequel was instantly planned and is well underway. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will once again star Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, with the additions of Dane DeHaan and Jamie Foxx. The movie is set to be released on April 18, 2014 in the UK and then on May 2, 2014 in the US.
