Beautiful People will centre around the life of Jay Sebring, the man who was responsible for building a hairstyling empire back in the 1960s. Sebring also developed a reputation for being a famous international gadabout and had a high profile romance with Sharon Tate. The romance eventually became platonic but ended in disaster, after both Jay Sebring and Sharon Tate were killed in the infamous Manson Family murders.
Lauren Wild will be penning the screenplay for the movie Beautiful People but it is unclear whether the tragic events that led to the death of Jay Sebring will be in the script. James Franco will also produce, along with his RabbitBandini Productions partners Miles Levy and Vince Jolivette.
