It has been nearly ten years since James Franco first appeared as Harry Osborn in the first of the Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy. Now with the movie set to reboot, James discusses the good times he had on the movies and what he expects from the Spider-Man movies to come.
Franco explained, "I had a great time on the Spider-Man films and Tobey, Kirsten [Dunst] and Sam Raimi have all become lifelong friends. My role in those films was not my favourite but I'm okay with the new one. The thing is, the technology is advancing so fast that often the new renditions sell themselves as having the cutting-edge technology. What early versions couldn't do even five or 10 years ago, these ones can - whether that's exciting new effects or whatever.”
James Franco can next be seen on the big screen when he appears in Rise of the Planet of the Apes, which is due to be released tomorrow in the US and on August 11 in the UK. James is currently filming the Sam Raimi movie Oz: The Great and Powerful, which is due for release in both the US and the UK on March 8, 2013.
