Well we all know by now that we are going to get to see British actor Daniel Craig reprising his role as 007 in at least one more James Bond movie, which you would think would put a bit of a rest to all of those rumours about which actor is going to replace him. However, with it now being expected that Daniel will only do one more James Bond film, the rumours about who is going to take over the role just keep on coming thick and fast.
There have been a huge amount of different names being linked to the possibility of replacing Daniel Craig as James Bond and it feels like, if you are a British actor and have a big enough profile, then there is someone out there who is tipping you for the role of 007. One such actor, who has been linked to the role time and time again, is the hugely talented tar James Norton, who has made a name for himself on such shows as Broadchurch and Happy Valley, among others.
While some actors would happily reject other acting gigs if there was a slight possibility of getting to play James Bond, James Norton is not one of them, as he is not willing to put his career on hold just because people are tipping him to play James Bond. James says that he would absolutely love to take over from Daniel Craig as James Bond but, since he has heard nothing about it, he will continue to accept other acting gigs.
Norton was talking to MrPorter.com, when he said to them, "It's nice to be in that conversation. But I'm certainly not saying no to stuff because I'm holding out for that."
It is far from being a given that James Norton will be the next James Bond, as he is facing stiff competition from other actors including Idris Elba, Aidan Turner, Damian Lewis, Tom Hiddleston, and Tom Hardy, to name just a few.
