It is fair to say that the 2014 FIFA World Cup has been one of the most exciting International tournaments that we have seen for a very long time, with a lot of goals, plenty of upsets and some impressive emerging talents. While all the talk ahead of the World Cup 2014 was about Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Neymar, there have been some other shining stars at the tournament.
One of the stand at stars at this World Cup would definitely have to be the Colombian star James Rodriguez, who has been in fantastic form for his country in the tournament. Following his impressive performances for Colombia at the World Cup, there have been a lot of top clubs looking to sign the talented player.
James Rodriguez is currently playing his club football for the French club Monaco but it looks almost certain that he will move elsewhere during the Summer transfer window. While there are a number of top clubs interested in signing James Rodriguez, it looks like he will end up heading to Spain, where Spanish giants Real Madrid are ready to make a £40m bid for the star.
While Real Madrid do look like the favourites to land James Rodriguez, they will have to offload one of their many talented midfielder's, with Argentina star Angel Di Maria looking like the most likely departure, with Manchester United believed to be interested in the player.
Nothing is set in stone yet though and there could be plenty more twists and turns along the way.
Who do you think James Rodriguez will join this Summer?
