James Van Der Beek's acting talents are very much appreciated by the television producers of Hollywood. It has just been announced that the handsome star will be joining the new CSI spin-off "CSI: Cyber" and will play the role of FBI Agent Elijah Mundo opposite Special Agent Avery Ryan played by Patricia Arquette

He moves from the comedy of "Friends With Better Lives" which was cancelled after one season to this dramatic role and some fans and social media entertainment observers seem to believe that this might be the best role for his exceptional acting talents. 
 
James Van Der Beek came to fame through the television series "Dawson's Creek" on which he showed a dramatic range far beyond his years and since then he has provides some very memorable dramatic performances on the small screen on shows such as "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit".

No one questions his comedic ability as he has left fans laughing in tears at his portrayal of characters on sitcoms such as "Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23" and "Friends With Better Lives" but many of his fans, female and male seem to remember him best from his dramatic performances.
 
The announcement of him becoming part of "CSI: Cyber" has many of his fans and social media entertainment critics both intrigued and excited because there is a possibility that this project will enhance his visibility. 
 
CSI is a franchise that has a very loyal fan base as does he and when one combines the two ingredients it leaves the possibility of it becoming a ratings winner. 
 
James Van Der Beek is back on primetime with "CSI: Cyber" to fight the world's toughest cyber crimes and he will likely have many fans watching him pursue criminals on television in the fall of 2014 which will put a smile on the face of many television executives.
