There has been a lot of interest in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie, ever since it was announced that it was going to get made, and we have no doubt it will be one of the biggest movies of 2015. While many fans of the book are expecting the movie to have some very erotic scenes, actor Jamie Dornan, who plays Christian Grey in the film, has stated that they have pulled back from that a little.
Dornan told GQ magazine, "You've got to make something a large amount of people can go and see. It's not going to be grotesque. I mean, in some ways, it'll break a few boundaries. But at the same time, they want to put bums on seats. They can't alienate an audience. You know it has to be watchable. It can't be hardcore. I wouldn't have signed up for it if it was."
While it seems that the Fifty Shades of Grey movie is not going to be as hardcore as the book is, there are still going to be plenty of explicit scenes with Jamie Dornan wearing very little clothing. However, Jamie says that filming these scenes did not bother him, and he even got the approval of his father.
Dornan added, "I'm not really fearful of that stuff. It's just work. It's strange work, sure, but it's still work. I just get on with it. [Dad] was all for it. I don't come from a cagey family. We're fairly liberal."
While we will see Jamie Dornan in the role of Christian Grey, he will be sharing the big screen with Dakota Johnson, who will appear in the role of Anastasia Steele. Fifty Shades of Grey has been directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson and will hit the big screen on February 13, 2015 in both the US and the UK.
