Jamie-Lynn Sigler, known for her role as mob wife Meadow Soprano in the HBO series "The Sopranos", teamed up with Holly Freeman of CJ Free jewelry to design a bracelet for the American Cancer Society. Sigler, who gave birth to her son in August, created the limited edition chorded bracelet for the Society's 100th Anniversary.
The piece is simple, with a purple and silver chord and seven sterling silver pearlesque beads. Jamie says that she got involved with the American Cancer Society (ACS) because "everyone has been touched by Cancer in some way." This is very true with 1/3 people getting a Cancer diagnosis in America as well as with Cancer being one of the major causes of death.
The ACS has local chapters all over the country dedicated to research and hopefully the eradication of cancer. Jamie believes that the message that the American Cancer Society is giving to "finish the fight against cancer" is a strong and important one. After just having a baby and losing thirty pounds, says she feels "honored to be able to continue to support" the ACS through her collaboration on this project.
With the bracelet being limited time, Jamie is getting back to work and is set to star opposite Seth Green as a potential love interest in the new TV show "Dads"
