There was once a time when working out did not seem to be as much of a big deal as it is today, with there now being so much pressure on pretty much everyone to work out, eat healthy and always look your best at all times. So while us normal folk are feeling the pressure to do all of this stuff, you can only imagine just how much more intense the pressure must be on the superstars of this world.
Actress Jane Fonda has been working in the entertainment industry for decades now and the 79-year-old star was once a huge pioneer of some work out videos back in the 80s and it seems that she is still a big fan of working out now. Jane says that there never used to be quite the same pressure to work out as there is today but she is still loving her exercise routines despite getting ever closer to her 80th birthday.
Fonda explained, "When I was starting out, women weren't supposed to exercise or have muscles. Now a lot of us, myself included, are staying active and healthier longer. I feel warmer and lighter. I had no idea that this was the case with advanced age. I feel, in a way, like I'm just starting out."
Jane Fonda decided to retire from the acting industry back in the 90s, only to make a comeback to the scene in 2005 and she is now as busy as she has ever been on the acting scene. As well as her continued role in the hit Netflix series Grace and Frankie, Jane also has a role in the upcoming new movie Book Club, which is due to hit the big screen some time in 2018.
