Janet Jackson has become the latest member of the Jackson family to boycott the Michael Jackson tribute concert, which is held later this year. Janet follows in the footsteps of Randy Jackson and Jermaine Jackson, who revealed back in July, that they would not be attending.
Janet has claimed the same reason as her brothers for not going to the gig, as it clashes with the criminal investigation of Michael’s doctor, Conrad Murray. Janet explained, "Because of the trial, the timing of this tribute to our brother would be too difficult for me.”
The Michael Jackson tribute concert is set to take place on October 8 and, while the siblings of the late star have rejected the concert, his Katherine and sister LaToya have backed it. The concert is set to be headlined by Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and Smokey Robinson.
