Jasmine Waltz may have committed career suicide with her willingness to appear on the television show "Celebrity Big Brother". Entertainment insider veterans are hoping that she was paid millions for her appearance but that is unlikely because her presence on the show was disastrous for her acting career and unexplainable.
Why Jasmine Waltz, an actress who had worked so hard to finally start being considered by producers and directors as an actress with a potential future in Hollywood would set about destroying her reputation by allowing herself to be seen as if she were the character who stalked Michael Douglas and his family in the box office hit drama/thriller "Fatal Attraction" is beyond explanation.
We even tipped her for greatness just days before she entered the show, not knowing that was her next career move at the time. Reality television allows the viewing audience to see the cast members conduct themselves as they do in their normal lives and as such Jasmine Waltz acted in a manner that no male or female would want to be associated with.
Jasmine Waltz's appearance on "Celebrity Big Brother" made many observers think of her as some crazed woman who could not deal with the relationship she was in and left her looking as someone who no one could imagine as a potential featured actress in a movie let alone a supporting actress, and on top of that, drew people's attention even closer to that of her shady past as a homewrecker.
Her appearance on the show occurred at the worst possible time as the public has become tired of watching young actors and actresses act foolishly in public and turned off them (looking at you Bieber). Jasmine Waltz might soon become similar to Paris Hilton or Lindsay Lohan, two individuals who would likely have difficulty paying a director or producer to allow them to audition for a role in one of their movies. Unlike her colleagues on the show Jasmine Waltz is actually a working actress so one has to wonder what possessed her and her agents to even consider suggesting that she appear on the show.
Recently the film work for Jasmine Waltz's upcoming movie "Murder 101" was completed but now one has to wonder if she will be seen in the movie at all or will all her acting work end up on the cutting floor considering all the negative attention she is receiving from social media, despite her management and suggestion everything is positive.
Young actresses must realize that if you act in a manner that can anger potential male admirers and female fans you are basically destroying the possibility of ever having a fan base and that is what might have occurred with Jasmine Waltz's appearance on "Celebrity Big Brother". If Jasmine Waltz does not become a consistent working actress in Hollywood over the next two years she can attribute her lack of acting work directly to her time on "Celebrity Big Brother".
