Fight For You singer Jason Derulo has been talking about his broken neck, which he sustained during an accident in rehearsals for his world tour. Jason was practising a stunt for the 2012 tour but it went horribly wrong, resulting in his broken neck. Jason claims that he feels very lucky to be alive but did admit that having a broken neck does actually have a few little benefits.
Derulo explained, "I came out blessed, so I'm feeling very positive. It has its moments. When I'm on a plane, it's actually pretty comfortable because I can just lean back and it just perches my head up. I could not be here right now, it was very close. The injuries I sustained could have ended in three ways: I could have been paralyzed for life, I could have been gone [died], or I could have a neck brace on for six months."
Jason Derulo has since had to cancel his world tour due to the extent of his neck injury and has admitted that letting his fans down is one of the worst feelings in his life. However, once he is fully recovered, Jason Derulo will reveal new dates for his world tour, which will hopefully have limited stunts in it.
