Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa was heavily criticised for the movie Conan the Barbarian but he insists that the cast and crew did the best that they possibly could with the script that they had. While fans have been critical of all aspects of the movie, Jason believes that it was the bad script that led to the movie flopping.
While promoting his new movie Bullet to the Head, Momoa explained, “The script just wasn't there. I just wanted take a stab at doing Conan and it's out of your control, you can only do so much. I feel like I bled over, and over and over to do the best I could. I feel like we represented [Conan] very well. The movie fell short, [but] you can only show up as an actor and be the best you can be.”
As well as starring Jason Momoa, Bullet to the Head also stars Sylvester Stallone, Sarah Shahi and Christian Slater. Bullet to the Head has been directed by Walter Hill, based on the screenplay by Alessandro Camon, and is set to be released on February 1 in both the US and the UK.
