Hollywood hard man Jason Momoa has possibly the most ripped body in the business. Jason has now revealed a few of his key dieting and fitness secrets, which help to keep him in such good shape. He also admitted that he loves to have a few beers, which means that he has to spend a little bit longer on the treadmill.
Momoa was talking to Men’s Health magazine, when he told them, “I'm not a big fan of just doing weights. Anything more physical is infinitely better, whether that's working on my house or hitting at the holes in my driveway with a pick. You know when you're working out but thinking about the sh*t you've got to do for the rest of the day? Well your workout is going to be half-arsed. Trust me - I'm ADD as hell.”
He added, “You need to eat big and lift big. But I prefer to eat as much lean meat and green veg as possible and save the calories for Guinness. It keeps you sane. I love carbs but denial is good training for the mind. After finishing a one-month cleanse, I had a giant bowl of pasta and I swear to Christ it was like I was on heroin. I love cigars and booze. If you're going to pound the beers you've got to suck it up. It [the treadmill] gets you going, man. Then you can have that beer.”
Jason Momoa can next be seen on the big screen, starring alongside Sylvester Stallone, Christian Slater and Sarah Shahi, in the movie Bullet to the Head, which has been directed by Walter Hill, based on the screenplay penned by Alessandro Camon, and is set to be released on February 1 in both the US and the UK.
