Jason Segel and Cameron Diaz hit the jackpot with their first collaboration [Bad Teacher], so it makes sense that they would be looking to reunite on another raunchy comedy. Recent reports have been stating that Diaz is in talks to reunite with her Bad Teacher director, Jake Kasdan, and co-star, Jason Segel, in another comedy called Sex Tape.
Although the film was originally developed at Sony as a star vehicle for Reese Witherspoon, the studio seems to have moved and is now looking to see if Cameron Diaz can make magic twice. After all, Bad Teacher was incredibly successful, both at the domestic as well as international box office. Jason Segel has also gained a bigger following abroad after How I Met Your Mother got syndicated and the Muppets became a huge international hit.
Sex Tape would focus on a married couple, being played by Segel and Diaz, who decide to spice up their love life with a sex tape. Everything's fine until the tape goes missing, and Segel and Diaz go on a frantic search to find it before it ends up in the wrong hands.
Diaz has been having a busy year, as she's set to appear in CBS Film's 'Gambit' as well as Ridley Scott's 'The Counselor'. Segel has been busy filming How I Met Your Mother as well as a small cameo role in 'This Is The End'.
