JLS have come a very long way since their X Factor days and the boys have even been immortalised in the form of the JLS dolls. However, not all of the JLS boys were happy with the first edition of their dolls and JB in particular was less than impressed with his.
He told Wylde Magazine, “I wasn't very happy with mine. The second edition was alright.” Meanwhile, his bandmate Oritse Williams added that JB’s doll looked more like other celebrities than it did him. Williams said, “JB's one looks like Akon, or a Caribbean George Michael!”
However, one member who was delighted to be made into doll form was Marvin Humes, who claims that boyband dolls are all the rage. He added, “The whole doll thing was incredible. Take That and N*Sync did it back in the day. Now it's massive again. All the boybands have dolls. We've brought that back.”
JLS have enjoyed huge success since appearing on The X Factor and have had numerous hit singles and albums. They will now be hoping that their new album Evolution can bring them further success. Evolution is out now and is looking to enter the UK Official Chart in the Top 5.
