Thor actor Chris Hemsworth was recently talking about The Avengers 2 and which actors he would like to see appearing in the movie, when he mentioned that he would love to see Jean-Claude van Damme win a role in the film. Now, Jean-Claude has responded to the comments, admitting that he would definitely be interested in appearing in The Avengers 2.

van Damme took to his official Facebook page, where he wrote, "It was my pleasure to meet Mr Stan Lee back in 1994, along with Mr Samuel & Mr Victor Hadida!. I read that Chris Hemsworth (Thor) would like me to co-star in The Avengers 2 movie!"
He added, "Well, it would be fun to play one of these types of amazing comic book characters again. By the way, I am a big fan of Marvel's superhero Silver Surfer and also another heroic fictional character known as Doc Savage - the Man of Bronze!"

It would certainly be interesting to see Jean-Claude van Damme in The Avengers 2 but we cannot think of a single Marvel character that we would like to see him playing. The Avengers 2 is currently being written by Joss Whedon and is expected to be released on May 1, 2015.
