It has been reported that Jeffrey Dean Morgan has signed on to appear in the movie Solace, which begins shooting this year. Solace already has a fairly impressive leading cast, with Anthony Hopkins and Colin Farrell already attached to the movie and Jeffrey will add even more star power to the project.
Solace is being described as a supernatural serial killer thriller, which will centre around supernaturally charged doctor with psychic abilities, played by Anthony Hopkins. This doctor is then called upon by a FBI agent, who will be played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, in a bid to help in the solving of a serial killer case. The killer of the piece, you may have guessed, will be played by Colin Farrell.
Solace is set to be directed by Afonso Poyart (Two Rabbits), with the film expected to begin production this summer, with May being the likely start date. However, Colin Farrell has a fairly hectic schedule right now, a number of movies lined up, which means the start date may yet be moved.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan has a fairly busy 2013 himself, with five movies expected to be released in the next year or so. One of those movies is The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea, which sees Jeffrey starring alongside Chloe Moretz and Jessica Biel and is expected to begin shooting soon.
