Jennette McCurdy rose to fame and made a name for herself on a string of Nickelodeon projects but she has since moved away from her roots and has been proving that she has the acting talent to mix it with the best in the business. Jennette has appeared in a number of projects since her Nickelodeon days and she has plenty more lined up for the future.
Next up for Jennette McCurdy is the new movie Pet, which is a bit more serious that what we have been used to seeing her in, with the thriller giving us a look at her range as an actress. Pet is currently in the filming process, while still awaiting an official release date, which we hope will be revealed sooner rather than later.
For those of you who are interested in this new movie but want to know more, Pet has been described as, "A psychological thriller about a man who bumps into an old flame and subsequently becomes obsessed with her, leading him to hold her captive underneath the animal shelter where he works. But what does the victim have in store for her assailant?" Certainly sounds intriguing to us.
Jennette McCurdy is not the only big name appearing in this new movie, as the Pet cast also includes other big names such as Nathan Parsons, Dominic Monaghan, and Ksenia Solo, to name just a few. Pet has been shooting this year, with Carles Torrens on directing duties, from a script developed by Jeremy Slater. While it is expected that Pet will open in 2016, the project is still awaiting an official release date.
