The events that Jennette McCurdy has dealt with recently would be very challenging for a grown adult to handle let alone a 21 year old woman. She has dealt with a "near-naked selfie" scandal and the cancellation of her hit television show "Sam & Cat" and it seems from her recent TwitLonger post she has also been struggling with the question of whether to end a friendship with allegedly a high profile friend that she has finally made a decision about.
Jennette McCurdy in a revealing social media Twitter post has let the world know that she has decided to end a friendship and even though she did not provide the name of the individual it seems that the person with whom she is no longer friends with is co-star and singer Ariana Grande.
The two stars have reportedly been feuding for months and in her social media post she reveals that the relationship did not seem to be a two-way relationship but only about the other person and she felt it brought out a side in her that she did not find particularly attractive nor productive.
Irrespective of whether people agree with the comments of Jennette McCurdy one thing that her social media Twitter post did was show a sign of maturity that is rare for someone who is just now old enough to enter an adult night club. Often people stay in relationships because it is the easiest thing to do even though it may not be the best thing for them personally and they hold in their frustrations until they explode in a most unpleasant and unproductive manner.
She expressed her feelings about the situation and in taking a 'stand' has entertainment insiders and filmmakers more confident about her future going forward than where she was in the past when the rumours such as her arriving late to the set of "Sam & Cat" and feuding were impacting her reputation within the entertainment industry.
She is currently providing the voice of Sue for the animation movie "Almost Heroes 3D" but one gets the sense that other opportunities may soon come her way.
The decision to change whom she associates with and her willingness to be more accountable for her actions has Jennette McCurdy looking and acting like someone who may have just 'corrected the path' of her career in the eyes of some studio television and film executives.
