Despite working closely together for years on hit sitcom Friends, Jennifer Aniston and Matthew Perry are reportedly no longer close at all.
Jennifer has apparently turned down numerous pleas from Matthew to make a guest appearance on his new NBC show 'Go On', according to the National Enquirer. Jennifer said that she is too busy with her current movie projects, after numerous hit and miss releases recently.
'Jen gave Matt the complete brush off when he came calling for help,' an inside to the National Enquirer.
'He's desperate to get his career back on track, and of all his old co-stars, Matt thought Jen was in the best position to help him out because she's enjoyed the most success since the end of Friends.
Poor Matt may have some awkward questions to answer, since he has reportedly already told network bosses that Jen's appearance was a sure thing.
Jen has enjoyed box office success since the end of Friends, despite recent negative reviews and disappointing sales figures. Matt on the other hand has fared much worse with a just couple of movies and a few short lived TV shows under his belt.
And Matt didn't just ask Jen, he also contacted fellow formed Friends star Courtney Cox, who played his on-screen wife on the hit US series. However, unfortunately for Matt Courtney turned him down as it would conflict with her own show, Cougar Town.
