The gap between the quality of movies being made for the big screen and the quality of television shows being made for the small screen has become a lot closer these days, with a whole host of very impressive television shows being made. HBO recently brought us the impressive television series The Leftovers, which boasted an strong cast including actor Justin Theroux.
With The Leftovers enjoying a fairly successful and popular first season on HBO, talk has turned to The Leftovers season two and which stars we could see joining the cast. Actress Amy Brenneman, who plays the role of Justin Theroux's wife in the show, says that she would love to have his real life partner Jennifer Aniston joining the show.
Brenneman said, "She'd be an awesome Guilty Remnant, wouldn't she? Just like, have that cigarette and be bad ass." While Jennifer Aniston says she would love the idea of playing a Guilty Remnant on The Leftovers, she is also sure that she would not be asked to join the show, "That is so funny. I don't know. I don't think so. They would never want me on that show."
As well as starring Justin Theroux and Amy Brenneman, the rest of The Leftovers cast includes the likes of Christopher Eccleston, Liv Tyler, Margaret Qualley, Carrie Coon, Amanda Warren, Ann Dowd, Michael Gaston, and Annie Q. The Leftovers season one finale aired on HBO last week, with The Leftovers season two premiere set to come to HBO at some point in 2015. We will let you know the official date when we get it.
