Actress Jennifer Carpenter has played the role of Debra Morgan in the hit show Dexter since 2006 and, later in the year, she will have to say goodbye to the show for good. Dexter season eight premieres in June and it will be the final season of the show.
Now, Jennifer has admitted that she is not ready to say goodbye to her character Debra and does not want the show to ever end. Jennifer even joked that she would be willing to go to drastic measures, in a bid to convince the Dexter execs to keep the show running.
Carpenter took to her official Twitter account to say, I am locking myself in my trailer. No! I'm locking Michael [C Hall] in HIS trailer,” she wrote, before adding, “If we keep shooting this show... it's going to end!!!"
You can catch Jennifer Carpenter in her familiar role as Debra Morgan, along with Michael C. Hall as Dexter Morgan, when Dexter season eight premieres on June 30. A brand new Dexter season eight trailer was released last week and it shows the deterioration of Debra, who killed her friend at the end of season seven.
