Dexter actress Jennifer Carpenter has described the season seven premiere as "perfect".
At the end of season six, fans saw Deb (Carpenter) walk in on her adopted brother Dexter (Michael C Hall) committing a murder, and it has been confirmed that September's premiere of season seven will be picking up moments later.

"It was the strangest, scariest seduction scene, in a weird way," Jennifer said of the pair's confrontation, which was partly glimpsed in a recently-released promo clip.
"It's sort of perfect. I didn't want Debra to lose any credibility with the audience. I wanted the things we've claimed to be true about her to remain so, and [exec producer] Scott Buck and the team of writers and producers did a great job."
The actress revealed at the TCA summer press tour that shooting the revelation scene was "very hard", TVLine reports.
"We were fresh off a very long, very generous hiatus, and that was the first scene that we shot," she explained. "It was very hard.
"But once Michael and I shook the dust off in rehearsals and everything, it was so easy. I didn't have to manipulate anything - it was all right there."
The new season of Dexter will premiere on Sunday, September 30 on Showtime. In the UK, the series airs on FX.
