Matt Damon and Ben Affleck have always been best friends, especially after growing up together and succeeding in Hollywood together. Of course, they've both had their different ups and downs, but at the end of the day, they are both considered A-list Hollywood stars and are still very close friends. They even live close by, after Matt moved his family to Los Angeles.

However, it seems as if there may trouble behind the scenes between Matt and Ben's wives. The National Enquirer is reporting [March 18th, Print] that despite their husbands' friendship, Jennifer Garner and Luciana Barroso 'can't stand each other.'
The Enquirer reports, "The two families socialize frequently. But despite Matt and Ben’s decades-long friendship, their wives have never warmed to each other.” The report adds, "Luciana has always felt that Matt is more talented and way more deserving of recognition than Ben. It burned her up seeing Ben feted for months like he’s the King of Hollywood.”

This report from the Enquirer totally seems like its reaching; sure, we don't see pictures of Jennifer and Luciana being all huggy and giggly, but that's because the paparazzi rarely manage to get pictures of Matt and Luciana outside of public events. Even if they weren't friends, it seems hard to believe that Luciana would be so jealous of Ben's success, when she knows how important their friendship is to her husband. Overall, while there may be some truth to the fact that Luciana and Jennifer probably have different tastes in friends, the report seems to be taking different stories from the past and putting it together into one big tabloid story.
