Jennifer Lawrence has had a busy year – starring in the Hunger Games, winning accolades for Silver Linings Playbook, and then being nominated [and winning] every award known to mankind. However, the star has revealed that after being sick during the past couple of weeks, she’s all set to take a vacation after the Oscars.

After winning her SAG Award for Best Actress, she went backstage and spoke to a team of reporters. When discussing whether she was still sick, she replied, “I’m so much better, I’m a lot better, I was on so much medication, I got a really cool inhaler. I’m doing much better.” She also spoke about her plans after awards season, saying that she hoped to get enough time off, and added, “I’m going to go to an island somewhere, I’m not telling anyone where I’m going. That’s my plan. Where are there some islands, I’ll find them.”
She was also asked whether she received any advice about red carpets and the life of a celebrity, and she replied, “Um, well, I grew up in a normal family and I have mostly normal friends, so I haven’t really had too many people give me very much advice, they’re normally just like ‘Oh my god, what are you doing?’ But the people who I have worked with, it’s mostly just support and love, and I’ve been so honored to work with such incredibly people that I’ve learned from. But I think you can probably tell from my public speaking that I haven’t gotten that much advice on it and red carpets as well. Still waiting, still waiting to get a couple of tips on how to shut up [laughs].”
