The Hunger Games actress Jennifer Lawrence has admitted that she is a little surprised at the fact that she is currently involved in two big movie franchises, with the Gary Ross movie and X-Men: First Class last year. Jennifer claims that she always expected to stick to Indie movies but is proud of the franchises she is in.
Lawrence explained, "Indies were always my main source of work and I feel like all of a sudden I've woke up and I'm in two franchises that I love and that I'm proud of. That's not a wake-up of regret, just a 'wow, I never expected to see that'.”
She added, “But I'm still doing work that I love and I always think it's mostly about the story and the character and working with good directors; it doesn't really matter, the size of it."
Jennifer continued, "When I was doing indies, everybody wanted to know why I wouldn't do studios and it was just because it meant the story and the script and not the size of the movie. Then I just found a script and story and director I loved and it just happened to be huge."
The Hunger Games is released around the world today.
