Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence has become one of the biggest and best actresses in the industry over the past few years and, along with her constant award nominations, Jennifer has found herself very in demand. As well as playing the lead role in the huge movie franchise The Hunger Games, Lawrence also appears in an important role in another huge movie franchise.
Jennifer Lawrence reprises her role as Mystique in the upcoming movie sequel X-Men: Days of Future Past and, with the movie just a few weeks away from its big release, the actress has been talking about her role in the film. Jennifer says that she fought with the darker side of the character and often decided to go off script when she felt it was necessary.
Lawrence was chatting to the guys over at Total Film, when she explained to them, "I was struggling back and forth with wanting to get darker ... There was one scene where I couldn't get past thinking she'd shoot someone where she doesn't in the script. We filmed it both ways, but I don't know which one they'll use."
As well as starring Jennifer Lawrence, X-Men: Days of Future Past also includes a whole host of familiar faces including James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart and Hugh Jackman, to name just a few of the all-star cast members involved. X-Men: Days of Future Past will open on May 22 in the UK, before then hitting the big screen in the US a day later, on May 23. We cannot wait!
