Fans of the X-Men movie franchise will recall how Rebecca Romijn's portrayal of Mystique saw her go naked but covered from head to toe in body paint. However, when Jennifer Lawrence played the character in X-Men: First Class, she preferred to keep the clothes on, even in mutant form.
Well, all that is about to change, as we will see Jennifer Lawrence nude in X-Men: Days of Future Past, albeit covered in similar body paint to that of Rebecca. Jennifer has now opened up about her naked scenes, also stating that the character herself has developed since the last movie.
Lawrence told Sci-Fi Now, "I’m naked. But when I do get to wear clothes, I love the ’70s outfits. Some of the Mystique look is a little different, but we’re still using the same paint. But she’s different in this film too. She was struggling – like a lot of normal humans – with the way she looked, and she was covered up a lot in the first movie, but this time she is Mutant and proud."
Jennifer Lawrence re-teams with the majority of the cast from X-Men: First Class, when the Bryan Singer directed X-Men: Days of Future Past is released on May 22, 2014 in the UK, before then hitting the big screen in the US on May 23, 2014.
