The Hunger Games actress Jennifer Lawrence has revealed what her New Year’s Resolution is going to be for 2013. Jennifer claims that she is going to try and be a bit more headstrong and not let people walk over her as much as they have in the past.
While talking to Marie Claire South Africa, Lawrence explained, “My New Year's Resolution is to stand up for myself. It's hard for me. Nobody wants to be disliked. You always want to be polite and be nice. I tried to find a balance in saying what I mean and still being nice. I can't do it. I have this 'okay' attitude and everything. I end up allowing myself to get walked over and resenting it.”
Jennifer also insisted that she would not give into the Hollywood pressures of being thin, admitting that she would much prefer to look like a regular person off screen, “I'd rather look chubby on screen and like a person in real life,” she added.
Jennifer Lawrence recently admitted that she is often a little embarrassed by the fact that she does not have any real acting background, as she sometimes finds it difficult to know what she is supposed to be doing technically on the set of her films.
